What you're seeing
The whole idea in about a minute and a half: you point Airwave at your own Plex server, build channels from your library, and get a broadcast-style guide with something always on. Tune in and you land in the middle of whatever's "currently airing," flip through channels, rewind out of a program and back through the break into the last one, and jump to live whenever you want. It's your media, running on your hardware, as live TV.
Everything in the video is the real app: the Aurora guide, the glass player with the DVR scrubber, the between-program bumpers, and the same 4K and HDR direct-play the native apps do.

The server, the admin, and the browser player are free and source-available to run yourself. The native store apps are a small paid convenience for people who'd rather install from a store than sideload. Your library, your server, your channels.
